How to Fish Map: All Islands and Radar Order
Quick Answer
How to Fish has five destination names in the current map evidence: Lighthouse, Forest, Desert, Rocks and Volcano. Lighthouse is the starting location; the other four are islands reached through progression. Finish the active island quest so the next destination is added to the Radar, then follow the marker rather than sailing from an unverified coordinate. A fan-made interactive map can help with orientation, but it is not a verified built-in full-screen world map.

Before you set out
Prerequisites#
- Start from the Lighthouse and finish the current main progression task before searching open water for the next island.
- Check the Radar after a quest hand-in or major story step; new destinations are tied to progression.
- Treat third-party map and minimap tools as external aids, not proof of the unmodified game's interface.
Survey 01
The five current destinations#
The evidence distinguishes the Lighthouse starting location from four unlockable islands. Use these names to read the Radar and outside route references.
Lighthouse#
This is the default starting location and the anchor for the opening progression.
Do not count it as one of the four later island unlocks.Forest#
Reach the Forest destination after the preceding progression step adds it to the Radar.
Follow the unlocked marker instead of relying on a copied ocean bearing.Desert#
Continue the story and complete the required prior island task before expecting the Desert marker.
An absent marker usually means progression is incomplete, not that the island was removed.Rocks#
Use the Radar entry unlocked by the relevant progression quest to reach the Rocks destination.
The name may be more useful than a fan-map coordinate when patches adjust routes.Volcano#
Treat Volcano as the final named destination in the current five-location evidence and unlock it through the preceding story route.
Do not assume it is visible or reachable before its Radar marker is awarded.
Route 02
Unlock and travel to the next island#
Finish the active island quest#
Complete the current progression objective and its hand-in before searching for a new destination. Current route sources tie island access to quests.
Re-open the Radar#
Check for the new destination marker after the quest completes. The Radar is the verified in-game navigation surface in the saved evidence.
Match the marker to the island order#
Use Lighthouse, Forest, Desert, Rocks and Volcano as the location vocabulary. Confirm the newly unlocked name before setting out.
Follow the marker instead of a fixed coordinate#
Sail toward the active Radar marker and correct course from the live display. This guide does not invent a permanent coordinate system that current evidence does not establish.
Fault ledger
If an island is missing from the Radar#
- The expected island marker never appears
- Return to the current island's main quest giver or hand-in and verify that the progression step actually completed before rechecking the Radar.
- A guide shows a full minimap that is absent in your game
- Check whether the image comes from a mod or third-party interactive map. Current evidence does not verify that screen as built-in vanilla UI.
- You sailed to a fan coordinate but found open water
- Return to the active Radar marker and use the live bearing. Patch changes or an external map's scale can make copied coordinates unreliable.
Field questions
How to Fish map questions#
- How many destinations are in the current map evidence?
- Five names: Lighthouse, Forest, Desert, Rocks and Volcano. Lighthouse is the starting location, with four later islands.
- How do new islands appear?
- Progression quests add destinations to the Radar; finish the current island's task and then recheck it.
- Does the base game have the full-screen map shown on fan sites?
- That is not verified. Use fan maps only as external orientation and rely on the in-game Radar for current navigation.
