Before you set out
Prerequisites#
- Have the printer available before looking for its print controls.
- For scanning, start with the document already signed.
Route 01
Print, scan, or destroy the document you need#
Match the action to your task: the printer controls produce a document, the scanner puts a signed document on the computer, and the recycling bin destroys one.
Find and use the print controls#
Reach the top of the printer and look along its left side for the screen and buttons. Select the document you want to print there. If you have been looking only at the computer for the document, check these controls.
Open the scanner and add the signed document#
Press the green button on top of the printer to open the scanner lid. Put your already-signed document into the scanner.
Press Scan and check the computer#
Return to the controls at the top-left side of the printer and press Scan. The scanned document appears on the computer.
Use the recycling bin for a destroy task#
Look on the floor behind the printer. Put the document in the recycling bin when your task calls for destroying it.
