Before you begin
The Calculator has two separate inputs: the arithmetic result, then a button selected by the light and that result’s parity. Keep the result available after entering it.

Before you set out
Prerequisites#
- Read the expression on the module and have your current Calculator manual available.
Route 01
Enter the result, then find the final button#
Calculate and enter the expression#
Work out the expression shown on the Calculator and enter that result on the module. Complete this input before using the light-and-parity table; the digit selected by that table is a later input.
Keep the result and read the active light#
Determine whether the result you entered is even or odd. Use the whole result for this choice: an even integer is divisible by two, while an odd integer is not. Read the color of the active light after the result entry.
Match the two clues in the manual#
Find the row for even or odd and the column for the active light color. Read the digit at their intersection in your current manual. The light color and the result’s parity are both needed for this lookup.
Press the selected button#
Press the digit shown in the matching cell. Keep the arithmetic answer and this final button distinct when passing instructions between players: first the result was entered; now the table-selected button is pressed.
Caution
Read the table in your current manual#
A photographed table can contain different digits from the manual supplied for your game. Keep the two-input procedure, but take the final digit from your own light-color column and even/odd row. A remembered digit from another bomb is not a substitute for this lookup.
